I want to ride my bicycle.......

2 miracles in one day. Can you handle it?

#1) I am posting.
#2) I voluntarily rode a bike during daylight hours, and liked it.

Here are the pictures of us after our first ride. We survived, and we have smiles on our faces. :o)
The Texas heat did not kill us.... yet. And, we didn't kill each other..... yet.

And, I am most proud of Toni. She went clipless for the first time ever! (Clipless - no clips to glide "normal" shoes into. Her special bicycle shoes are clipped onto the pedal. It sounds kinda oxymoronic. It's called clipless, but she is clipping her shoes onto the pedal. Whatever.) She is now one with the bike, until she makes a stop, and has to remember to twist the ankle out of the funky pedal before she falls, in slow motion, onto her side. When that happens, I will let you know.

I am now a bicycle sock junkie. They are sooooo cute. Why the socks? Because I have to wear XL men tops. Buying medium sized socks makes me feel better. I am a woman with shoulders and a chest. Apparently women who ride bikes on a regular basis have neither. Is that my future? Until then, I will be sock happy.
